Winter Season shows coming up

MGA WINTER PRODUCTION SEASON IS UPON US! Our students are hard at work rehearsing for three fantastic shows coming up in December. Join us Upstairs at Assembly Roxy from December 5th to 10th for a week of live theatre featuring our wonderful Acting and Musical Theatre students.

Full details of each show in production can be found on the Production pages. Our 3rd Year Musical Theatre students present THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL on 5th and 9th. Our first graduating year of Acting students are performing Shelagh Stephenson’s FIVE KINDS OF SILENCE on December 7th and 10th. And our 2nd year Acting students will be tackling MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS GOT HER HEAD CHOPPED OFF by the wonderful Liz Lochhead on 6th and 8th.

We are delighted to welcome Molly Innes and Terry Ram to Edinburgh for the rehearsal period, working with the Acting students, and our own Drew Gowland and Murray Grant are working with fabulous Musical Director Marc McBride and West End star Katie Paine to guide our Musical Theatre students.

Tickets for these three shows can be bought now from the MGA Shop – there’s limited availability for each night so book now to ensure you can see all three shows!

Finally, to bring the term to a close and bring in the festive cheer, we have our annual Christmas extravaganza at the Usher Hall, and we are very proud to again be supporting Barnardos Scotland. A Christmas Wish arrives on Thursday 15th December, and you can book your tickets right now at the Usher Hall website.
